Frequently Asked Questions
I've completed one of your diagnostics but I cannot
view the results.
Often access to the reports is withheld by the person who organised access
for you. This is usually because they intend to provide you with your
report when then next meet you, perhaps on a training workshop. If you
think you should be able to see your report but cannot, please refer in
the first instance to the person who arranged your access.
When I try to login it says my account is blocked.
Access can be blocked by the individual who arranged your access for
a variety of reasons. Sometimes this is done to time access to coincide
with specific elements of a training programme. If you want to know why
your currently block, please refer to the individual who arranged your
access.
Occasionally we will block accounts which we believe have violated the
terms and conditions, particularly the clauses referring to personal use
and intellectual property. If this is the case, we'll probably already
have been in touch with you!
When I try to register it says my email is invalid.
Our systems attempt to verify that you are using a valid domain and that
your email address is within certain standard formats. These formats are
quite complex and occasionally with unusual email addresses we have found
that they are wrongly rejected. If you have an unusual format for your
email address and cannot use it on our site, please contact us and we
will endeavour to resolve the problem.
When I registered I got a message saying that the
access code has expired.
Access to products delivered on this site is given in a variety of ways.
One common way is for a trainer or coach to email you a link which has
a code embedded into it. As part of our security measures, these are usually
only active for a limited time. Seeing this message means that the code
you are trying to use has lapsed and you have not been given the intended
product access. This is usually easily resolved by referring the error
to the individual who arranged your access. They will be able to provide
you with a new link. If you are unsure who to get in touch with, please
feel free to contact us instead.
How can I change the size of the text?
This site has been designed to give maximum flexibility and none of the
font sizes are fixed - all are controlled from by you within your browser
set up. If you are using Internet Explorer 7+ or Firefox 3+ one simple
way to change the size is to use Cntl-/Cntl+ to amend the size of the
whole site. For more detailed instructions on customizing your browser
for font sizes, please see Access for the Visually Impaired.
When I try to register it says my email address is already
in use
If you have not used this site before, it may be that
you have used our facilities through the website of one of our partners.
Current partner websites which use our site to manage their client access
include The Gautrey Group,
Noetic,
Concilio,
Coach Marilyn,
and Politics
at Work.
If you have used either of these sites in the past, your previous login
details will work here too and you will have identical access. Alternatively,
if instead of registering you enter your email address in the Forgotten
Password field of the registration page and
click the forgot button, you'll soon see your password appear in
your inbox.
I don't seem to have access to the products I expected.
The most likely reason for this is that you have registered as a member
of the public rather than using the link provided for you, often in an
email from a coach or trainer. This is easily resolved, simply find the
email you were sent and click on the link and your access will be immediately
upgraded. If you cannot find that email, please get in touch with the
individual who was arranging your access and they will be able to provide
you with a new link.
Another reason could be that your access has expired. Normally our proeducts
are only available to you for 12 months. If you try to login after this
time, you will see a box explaining that your access has expired. This
will also provide you with contact details should you wish to regain access.
When I click on a link in "my home" I am
told I don't have access.
Each element of a product is referenced by a link on "my home".
Sometimes, a bespoke page is created to welcome a specific group, perhaps
because they are all attending the same workshop. Occasionally the links
set up in this special page show elements for which you do not currently
have access to. In order for them to work your access needs to be upgraded,
and it is likely that your trainer or coach will be planning to send you
a new link to upgrade after your workshop. If you cannot get what you
want from "my home" please refer to the individual who arranged
access, or contact us.
Why does the page size keep changing?
This system works on a website which may be different from that of the
person or organisation who arranged your access. In modern browsers (e.g.
Firefox 3.0 and Internet Explorer 7+ website size can be changed easily
by using the Cntl- or Cntl+. If during your session you click on a link
which takes you back to the original site which introduced you to this
facility, the browser will detect this and render the page in the size
you used there. Using Cntl- and Cntl+ which quickly amend this for you.
When I clicked on a link it took me back to the login
page.
This means that your session has expired or the link you were trying to access
is restricted. If you leave your session unused for one hour, or you close and restart your
browser, you will need to login again if you wish to start using the site again.
If when you clicked on a link you got a message saying "please login to view that page"
it means that the page you were trying to access is restricted to those who are logged in.
Alternatively, you may belogged in and saw a message saying "your current authorisation is
insufficient to view that page" it is likely that your coach/trainer has yet to provide you with
the level of access required to see that page. Often this is because you are due to attend
a worksho and some information is being held back until after the workshop. If in doubt,
please contact your coach/trainer in the first instance.
If you have any other queries, please don't hesitate to email our
support team.
