Colin Gautrey Biography
Colin Gautrey is a specialist in the practical use of power
and influence in the workplace. He combines solid research with
deep personal experience in corporate life to offer his clients critical yet
simple insights into how to get results with greater influence.
He learned how to influence in the field. He has worked in many disciplines, including
Mergers and Acquisitions, International Strategy, Information Technology,
Sales and Leadership Development. After taking a career break from the cut and thrust of corporate life,
Colin decided in 2003 to dedicate his time to helping others to become more influential. With a significant level
of research, and extensive work with clients, Colin has quickly established himself as one of the leading
experts in his area.
Colin is co-author of several books including 21
Dirty Tricks at Work (July 2005 - Wiley) and Political
Dilemmas at Work (September 2008 - Wiley). He has written chapters and articles for many
other publications, including Managing the Political Temperature of Your Team, written for Marshall Goldsmith's
new book, the AMA
